This is the basis for my desire in teaching children. For I am helping children while at the same time teaching then lifelong skills that they will use in the future. This is why I want to become a substitute teacher for the Des Moines Independent School District. vI am a Girl Scout of America and aged into an Adult Scout as of May 2013. vI can use most windows, some macs, and a little knowledge of a few unusual systems like liniux. vDue to my interest in children and by extension adults I enjoy helping people. vI will have an Elementary Education with a K-8 Art endorsement. Education Theodore Roosevelt High School vI graduated on May 25, 2013 in the 15% percent rank tile with a GDA of 3.902 out of a 4.00 scale. Des Moines Area Community College vI took classes though dual courses and AP classes in High School. Graceland University Will be complete a Bachelors in Spring of 2017 vMajor in Elementary Education with a K-8 Art endorsement and Art minor. vI was placed on the Honors list in Fall 2013 and Spring 2014. Experience Initial Practicum at Cowles Montessori Elementary School in Windsor Height, Iowa during the Spring of 2013. I did methods labs at South Elementary School in Decatur Central School District in the Fall of 2015. vI observed most of the time. When I was not observing I was double checking students works and checking it off. I also read out loud to them after recess.
